The Encounter Do you summon back Just how it was… Slipping into arms That had been waiting a lifetime… Love words lost in lips That locked… Then moving as one to A small room of preordained, Waiting for us in this once of life Meeting, Blushing from the intent looks of Invisible ghostly eyes Sitting in chairs There, in that small anteroom of lecture… Our hearts inculcated us that day… Singing spring then melting May Into summer song… For then we knew… As we know… All things possible, come, As we summon back Just how it was… Slipping into arms That had been waiting a lifetime… ~*~ When love trembles You don’t mind the shudder…. |
