In the chill of morn Just after the frost is gone, A flower is born Blooming in sunlight alone. It’s come out early Can’t wait to show it’s beauty. Birds were out singing Mating songs for the fresh spring. School children will run In the warmth of the bright sun All pass by but one, That can’t wait for another, Plucks it to give his mother. the next day three bloom as pretty as that flower that graces his mother’s room expressing young love’s power. Gloom Inspired by the writings of Wang Wei |

You know that I appreciate ALL of your poetry, but I especially love poems such as this refreshing and joyful one. Kiss on cheek for putting a smile on my face this dreary afternoon! Love & Light, EA |

It was the last stanza that held an inner message for my eyes, Professor... I hope that it intended to share as much as it did... and ever grateful was I to read this today... thank you. |
