I saw a side today of you I've never seen Makes me wonder how much of you is untold That look in your eyes was one I couldn't read A newly found venture A new chapter "You and Me" I reach out to hold you to make you feel secure Words cannot be spoken to make you feel at ease Just being there you say is enough for your happiness But your emptiness fills me and cuts me like a knife If you are not truly happy then I will not be either until I see that smile back and the light back in your eyes Failure isn't failure if a lesson from it is learned ~ KS |

Oh, your words "cut like a knife" through the very heart of me. You surely gave voice to the feelings of many of your readers. Warm hugs, EA |
