When I'm upset, feeling sorry for myself, not to mention the feelings of pain for those trudging through sand storms, dodging missiles and bullets... I listen to some upbeat guitar music, Strange Beautiful Music exotic lively escapades picked by a master, Joe Satriani, and I light a scented candle, eat a pizza, drink a beer, shake and rock my body all over this apartment floor, with feet in beat ("sorry" dear neighbors) as I try to remember why I used to build fantasy sand castles on Santa Monica Beach listening to the crashing waves and screaming gulls while watching surfer boys with sun-bleached blond hair cresting the waves, hanging ten in the warm sun flirting with all the young maidens in our too-tiny-bikinis. And suddenly I remember LIFE. It is still out there. |

Pick out any one, don't forget Jimi, and move your feet! I was lucky enough to see and hear Segovia live, many years ago. I got to the college two hours early jsut so I could get a front row seat, to watch his finger style up close. Same for Satriani. You've absolutely got to see him up close to believe what he can do. Thanks for reading! |

(smiles) I listen to a lot of Shakira music to lift my spirits, as well as a lot of Jack Johnson and Jimmy Buffett on lazier days and Latin and Arabic music many other days! (kiss on cheek) I also write and play my own music and that is what soothes my soul too, yay, this is wonderful, for good music, I recommend for you to listen to 99.5 The Mountain, it is independent of Clear Channel, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Bluesy, fire up all those candles and pick up that guitar. Dunc, it's a meatless pizza, but I saved you a slice. Yes, could still be us gypsies cavorting. Noah, thanks! "If we couldn't laugh..." |

Midnitesun - when I'm down I pick up that Guild and start picking some, nothing in particular but something, and I feel the calm come to me within. That guitar, soothing it is, like the music you listen too when down... BC |

An affirmatively YES!! while we must come to terms with the melancholy around us so as to internalise feelings of gratitude and contentment as we realise how lucky we are, we mustn't let ourselves get disillusioned or bitter as a result...Life is still out there for us to embrace... what a timely reminder! |
