 My Secret Garden A place where I go to sigh Surrounded by the quiet beauty Letting the birds’ song direct My flowing and relaxed mind Leaving behind the stressful thoughts That plague my mind and soul I close my eyes, feeling the sun Caress my face and shoulders The sweet scent of the flowers Whose colors dance together to Blend in such waves of splendor So breath taking and serene. My very own secret garden My place to hide away from The intrusive outside world A place I can simply … exhale.
