We walk through life
Hoping for the best
To meet new challenges
With courage and dignity.

Our hearts cry out for
Peace and love
In trying times
That test our souls.

We shed sad tears
In private moments
Longing for someone
To take away the pain.

Be that someone
To care and to love
Those that need help
In this walk through life.

I was so very moved by your words and they reminded me very much of a poem I just posted about my feelings on the war.
