Angel Wings Deep in the mud, the ocean sends her best. Riding gently upon the crest. A pair of wings in the mire will come to rest. Search low, instead of high. Watch their wings unfurl, as the living creature inside of them slowly dies. Beautiful, as a papyrus scroll. Ancient, as the greenest Knoll. Such grandeur found only in the mire, as scholars slowly unearth this sunken treasure. Yet, rarest by far, it still has the courage and the strength to endure. |
