The rose sits
to sing
it's song
of
beauty,
as I wait
for it
to reach
me.

a pretty bit, but how is it a haiku?

you know: 5,7,5 syllables per line respectively.

i to have to ask, how is it a haiku? Its a beautful poem but how is it meant to be one.

Haiku has 17 syllables in it and is about nature. this is my variation, but thank you for the input.

A haiku does have 17 syllables.. broken down into 3 lines of 5-7-5 syllables Either way, I do like this poem, it is very pretty
