To See You

I have the poems
right here in my pocket
straight from my heart
to you.

Can I read you
one or two?
Annie said,
"Later, after
we're through."

She only glanced
at the poems now in her hand
and quickly put them away.
A little later she
had to run.

She always
goes away.
She never has the
time to stay.

It was nice
to see you
Annie.

This is a very poignient (sp?) write. We should all take time for each others words... and a write from the heart is never wasted.
