Whisper

Whispers dipped in gilded awe.
Play the wind and seek to store.
Reaching for a mind to wed.
Sleeping on a feather bed.

Resting in an ivory tower.
Brighter then the brightest flower
Stays within my laden seems.
Rules my night with golden dreams.

Frees my goals with amnesty.
Holds my souls serenity.
Pleading in blind justice ear.
To balance me the blind of fear

She flies my castle like a dove.
Fills my sky alight with love.
Tenders me in altars prayer.
Sooths my life with loving care.

What would I do without her light?
My life would be an endless night.

JM,
Just for a moment Randy was real worried, but since you included him all's well that ends well.
Your comments are always a ray of sunshine
and often make my skin pink. And you know of course that it never turns to a tan.

Sy,

Initially, I wanted to tell you the very first line, my favorite. But, as I keep reading, the entire poem is equally beautiful. This one is special. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Hugs, Pat

Good afternoon, Mr. T.!

A right write! Your whispers are pure gold and the one who hears them is most worthy! I thank you!-- Oh, oh! Here she comes!-- Just joking around, Isabel! Honestly! Angels never tell lies---well, maybe just little white ones!

I thank you for the just lovely.

Just little white ones, I'll forgive you that. LOL And it should be so, for I myself have molded a few.

I really enjoyed this. I liked the image "brighter than the brightest flower." It was just amaizing.

In whispers sought so shall you seek
just before gold words then shall speak
and leave a rhyme in time with give,
so that we all might learn and live...

brave heart be within soul of thee
as we rejoice in your poetry...

Add me to the list of sighs... it's always good to read you Sy.  Have you considered submitting this for the book?  If so, you definately have my vote!

Take care,
