A Drifting Mind
~ By Sue ~

Sitting here alone
My mind starts to drift once again
Of the love we shared
A love I thought was so true
Seemed to leave me suddenly

Sue - allow your mind to drift......away from the past and into the bright future! Well done. Chris

This is so natural...our minds do drift into moments such as this from time to time--lost in reverie--and you expressed this so vividly...

Warm hugs to a sweetie pie,

Big tender hugs to you. Even though I suggest you live in the NOW, I fully understand this drifting into the past which holds magical moments.
And your beautiful words touch me.
Love, Margherita

Sue, sometimes the bad memories and hurts
mingle in together with the good memories.
This causes confusion and a great feeling
of lost. Doesn't it?  Especially when a
really deep love was there.

I love the way you can put your feelings in
your poems about your heartaches and pain.
I wish I could do that. It seems that it would
help to take the pain and confusion away.

Sue - goodness now you have been inside of my head for two days straight!  I agree with Ethel on this . . . sadly - better to have loved than not - as they say . . .

I have drifted like that before too,
it's like floating down stream,
rocking and rolling with every thought.

Nice poem Sue~
