Excusing My Invent

Yesterday I looked for you
in silence of the green.
My insides reached their outside point
and wrestled with the seen.

Matching word for word my thoughts
of vision's yesterday,
I struggled with tomorrow's need
observing on my way.

Nodded here, and sometimes there
stepping on intent,
I smiled with pleasure, memories served,
excusing my invent.

For mind of mine can reach inside,
pull up imagine's wear.
And promise me a day of full
creating what's not there.

Confident and comfort born
on Wednesday, this midweek,
I watch in silence for a sign
of warmth, a "preview sneak".

To garnish me, embellished with
the wearing words of more,
I am still me, the one "who is",
the one you loved before.

I really enjoyed this, especially the words above.
