Softly the day creeps Across the expanse of green With its warming touch Just on yesterday Was winters light white touch seen, With its chilling touch. Flowers may bloom tomorrow, For the bees and butterflies, To entice the songs from sparrow Mingling with Spring’s warm breeze sighs. I take a moment, Pause to watch where Winter’s been, And colors now touch. Gloom |
