Softly the day creeps
Across the expanse of green
With its warming touch

Just on yesterday
Was winters light white touch seen,
With its chilling touch.

Flowers may bloom tomorrow,
For the bees and butterflies,
To entice the songs from sparrow
Mingling with Spring’s warm breeze sighs.

I take a moment,
Pause to watch where Winter’s been,
And colors now touch.

Gloom

I like this a great deal.

This line, special to me...

"To entice the songs from sparrow"

I can hear them! Enjoyed, Hugs, Pat
