So how do you end a nightmare? One that refuses to stop. One that runs on and on. Even when you've reached the top, of a hill that promises safety from the oncoming flood. Even when the bomb in your home turns out to be a dud. Even when the thing that's after you tires and gives up the chase. Even when the tears of fright stop rolling down your face. How do you end a nightmare that proves all others fake? How do you end a nightmare that continues while you're awake? How do you end a nightmare that doesn't fade with the coming of light? How do you end a nightmare that stays long after the night? How do you end the nightmares that don't just end on cue? How do you end the nightmares that always seem to come true? |

Hi and Welcome to PIP. this nightmarish piece was interesting. i liked the lines: How do you end the nightmares that don't just end on cue? Just so you know, we generally discourage members from "flooding" the board with their poems. When you do this other members will often look at one of the several you posted and if they don't like it greatly they will not read the others. Even when the poems do get read and commented on if there are too many from one member none of the poems get the singular attention they deserve. We generally suggest you limit yourself to 3-4 poems a day and that you comment on at least one poem for each one you post (most member comment on several for each one of their's). If you have any questions feel free to contact myself or any of the other moderators. There is also information at: /pip/guidelines/rules.html /pip/faq.htm /pip/guidelines/philosophy.html -majnu |
