(Author's note: I've just become aware of the Poetry Workshop and after some editing, the following is my rictameter of gratitude.Ethel, you surely dug me a deep hole.PS Before I get in trouble, despite the "man" of Bacon's expression, I believe it applies to both sexes.)

Thanks to Nan!

Thanking
you I am, with
all sincerity as
you work and slog on behalf of
us who strive to learn the craft of better
writing, for Bacon said “Writing
maketh the exact man”
So again I’m
Thanking

Kudos on your rictameter and for your kudos to our hard-working Nan! In fact, you all are making me want to sharpen my pencil and try my hand at writing one!---Hey, that's what I am going to do right now! I am going to write one on "Writing"!
Wish me luck!

Warm hugs,
Linda

(smiles) Oh Ken, this is wonderful, sweet friend, that's an interesting way of looking at poetry, Bacon truly seems like a marvelous inspiration, even when I feel nothing is "exact" in poetry regardless of form writing! (big hugggsssssss) I love this, sweet friend, yay, and special hugs to Ethel and Nan too, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

for you, Ken

for you, Nan

and for everyone else who
wants to learn something from
her workshop. She's a  very
good teacher, isn't she, Ken?

(BTW, this is an excellent rictamater,
and you know that I love it, too!)

We are all teachers and students throughout our lives if we are fortunate.  Since Nancy Lee recruited me, I've learned of many loving souls and taught them that I love to weave tall tales.

So 'sun and 'shine and "Angels" two
I have this lovely debt to you.
And Ethel, friend, who led the way
and show me such a charming way
To stretch my writing; yes you did
for I tell you true, I never kid.

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Wonderful Ken!!
I'm so pleased you are enjoying yourself here
as much as we enjoy having you here.
Now..perhaps I should join Nan's classes.
I love these and this one is especially well done.
