MoonMazed

I cased the moon and watched its where,
the shadows blending it with blue.
Each night the fullness overtakes
and I, I am amazed in view.

A Moonchild, yes, that's what I'm called
with feelings tender, emotions fledged.
For each and every phase that shows
I rise in flight from here, where edged.

And don't you know I'm caught in time
bordered on the dividing line.
Wondering, wandering in between,
just a fledgling on the scene.

I'm learning always, in heart degrees
the ins and outs of skillfull gain,
and yet I sometimes rearrange
the winning hand so you can reign.

I'm lost in thought imagining you,
building daydreams in the haze.
The grayness really scares-me-not
for often I can feel your gaze.

You can't escape me, nor the moon
for we are children phased in glow.
Eclipsed at times in gloom of night
entangled we, in shadow's know.

Perhaps we could walk in moon glow together some night and share our poetic thoughts...

I like your melancholy moon thoughts

When you think you have heard it all,
listen more closely.
