It is a time of darkness A time of battles Of good vs. evil A time that dragons still roamed the earth The dragons plagued the people Nowhere was safe Nowhere to run Everybody lived in fear And didn't know what to do Then a peasant boy strolled into town In the middle of a dragon attack All the peasant boy did Was grab some stones And use his sling shot The stone flew through the air And hit one dragon And then all was heard was One big thud The other dragons attacking the people Turned their attention to the peasant boy The people ran indoors And one by one They heard big thuds When the peasant boy said "it was all clear." The people of the town Came out and could only stare There on the ground lie 3 dead dragons And the peasant boy just standing In the road With his sling shot in hand They thought, "How did he do this? With divine intervention?" The peasant boy just stood there smiling And said, "I was just in town and thought I'd help." The towns people cheered for their hero And to this day The peasant boy lives in town Protecting it from dragons Cold hands means a warm heart |

Sounds like me. What is life without poetry and adventure? |

(smiles) It seems the unlikely heroes always seem to make the biggest round of applause, I too admire it when ordinary people do such wonderful things for the community! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderfully mighty, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
