At last a mirror of pure twilight That eclipses my eyes with fire An ongoing forsaken path of hope That dampens by the rain of dripping dreams Dreams that float, coated with anguish Yet there succession still lives It beats like ticks of lost time The past paints in the clouds of night Dreams that diminish, thrown away As if a gem to the sky, dies A falling star losing life Feeling leeched to plant decay Dreams with false expectation, inexperience Being a mere fragment to a whole A piece to a puzzle of faith That's in seek of placement to surrounding Dreams that remain only dreams A hope that ignites a heart As power is a gift lived Without sacrifice, without fault Dreams, what we portray them to be A fuel to a life-time |

It has to do with having dreams and never truly having them to a point where you control them, how they make you who you are, and strive you to live up to something. |
