“DANCING NEAR THE BAYOU” by Bill Charles ~~~~ This mysterious place down near the bayou, reminds me of a place of different seeds, blues sing from the swamp, driving my soul, a melody captures, as that guitar bleeds… Underneath the cypress, sexy as a dream, eyes meet mine piercing deep into my flesh, a hand I extend to propose into lights dawn, two comes closer touching, wanting to mesh… Hair flows down to meet shoulders length, fingers run through silk, as senses awake, hips sway with each other’s magic touch, my being is senseless inside with her ache… Once more I meet the one of many brews, a witch of the cypress swamp to dance, mystifying will be this night knowing her, as she hypnotizes me into desires trance… ~~~~ |

smiling at this poem and giggling at Noah's reply as well. Creepy, huh? Well it's okay, I've said it before and I say it again-- "Sometimes I give myself the creeps." --Green Day (I never said I said it first! ) Bill you have an innate understanding of my part of the world, made all the more beautiful through your dreamy and romantic verse. I keep meaning to take pictures, but then, the way your write it? I don't have to. I thank you for this. |

Bill, loved your poem, as always. This one has an extra little thought-provoking kick to it... Making the reader think of the bayou and everything around it.... "Love makes the world go around" |
