I wrote this a while ago for someone, it's quite the perennial anthem for us, I hope you enjoy it.

If you look closely, carefully, and keep your eyes
Always alert then you will find it.
Look for it, hidden and secret, behind that copse of trees
Or dappled in greying white on the fluffiest of summer cloud.
Search under rocks on golden beaches, or see it
Skimming over the surface of a pond, quirky, jagged and alive.
Watch closely the teardrop of dew as it scurries
Along the petal of a rose,
See it fall and explode upon the floor,
And feel the sensation released.
In all these places and more I have hidden it for you.
Listen with your ears and it will be there
Whatever the season, its breeze carries the softly spoken
Words that I set there riding the winds for eternity.
Stand by the shore and commune with the sea,
For in rivers and lakes, by stream and brook
I laid down my thought and my hope to be carried
On capricious currents to every coast that
May be graced by your presence.
And should footfalls take you to some place where once I stood,
Or will stand again, then close your eyes, and open your
Heart, and for a moment picture me as I am, or was, or will be
And know that I am thinking of you.
