If I could paint pain...

brushstroke it into blue skies...

would it disappear?

Pain is just something god put on this earth
to make things good, feel better.
Nice write.

Read ^ there, because you are reading the wrong part!

I once had a conversation with a friend where we discussed pain, like salt on a wound. But when something good comes along, sugar, we don't notice that the one grain doesn't hurt, because we're still consumed by the salty pain. But if you've got the sugar and put a grain of salt there, you'd notice.
As humans we're good at finding negative.. I'm afraid we'd see it *sigh*
great write, thought provoking for sure.

Always, Alyssa

It would pass as a cloud.

Thanks Eric. Yes, it is special, for it was written with a special poet friend in mind, our very own Lady Chipmunk, Lyra.

hmmm, i guess it will unless it mingles with the skies and dilutes its purity of blue until the skies turn grey...then more people will be affected by the pain..

but then again, pain shared is pain halved

or would it block the sun with blackened clouds?

great senyru, very provocative

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I love these thoughtful replies!
and we all know thinking is good exercise for the brain muscle
and keeps the light on in the dark
