My heart feels the tension That coils in my soul That pain called rejection Which leaves me unwhole How do I continue Remain in the game When my only venue Is home with the pain How can I listen to Those words that hurt so The ones, “I don’t love you” That slice to the bone And so I just smile And nod and go on And I live in denial Though I feel put upon So each day I die Just a little bit more And each day I cry As I walk out the door |

Thank you everyone for your comments. Yes this was from person experience. I was very down for a long time after but now I'm happy again. |
