~ Long Hard Road ~ The days i spend now, they feel so lonely. Waking every day knowing im alone. Knowing your 1000 miles away going on with out me. Not giving a second thought, life goes on as if we never met. Maybe its for the best we both move on with our lives. You happen to slip in my mind, I push it out as quickly as i can. I try and keep from beaking down. With tears in my eyes i hold back, All the feelings that come rushing, filling up my vacant heart. Its going to be a long hard road, without you by my side. Its going to be a long hard road, without you to tuck me in at night. This life will be a long and hard road, without being able to kiss your forehead again. But thoughts of you i hold fast to in my heart, Keeping me warm when i grow cold. They keep me pushing on when i want to give up, Keep me from falling into nothingness. Like a teddy bear i squeeze tight, holding on to those memories, and only then, do i feel alright. A dream is but a dream, you can wake up. Reality is ultimate, and those who share it with us are far more important than anything we could remember, [This message has been edited by sellout007 (03-12-2003 07:11 PM).] |

This sound a lot like my newest poems. About how life just goes by so quickly. And you wish the things you did could be changed. I liked this. Keep up the good work Read ^ there, because you are reading the wrong part! |
