My daughter was born 10/30/2000 and I wrote this 11/03/2000. Now she is two running aroung talking up a storm and leading daddy around.

Like a miniature angel
you flew to me
bringing your little candle
from the clouds
to shine your smile
on my weary eyes

A pink bundle of joy
sleeping
crying
and sometimes
even smiling
arms wide open
big brown eyes so pretty
drinking
every ounce of love
I have
But strangely always find more.

When I look at you
I feel chills
and almost cry
but a little smile always
finds my face

As I look at my little Princess
calmly sleeping
a little angel
yet to get her wings
a gift that I will never deserve
but most gifts are
as I too fall to sleep
with my little girl
in my arms

may she alway be daddys little prnicess,
get ready in about l3 or so years,
have the baseball bat at hand, know my princesses daddy wanted to hit a few out
to left field
