it will be under the glow of the moon.
Does this sound foolish to you?
Ah, but when March winds blow
fires stir
so I know this time
it’s not just a sweet dream.
It’s there, in the light of the moon
I’ll fall in love,
and nothing will matter,
except for the light in your eyes
until dawn…
then my heart will be hushed, at first,
intently looking for some loving sign,
and as I open my eyes
if I see the butterfly dance in your eyes
then I’ll blush like the colors in a sunrise
and become like a sun-struck dove
swept high by the winds of romance
swirling in the deep blue of your eyes,
and like some kind of firelight
the voice of a gold sunrise
and silver moon
will once again call me
and it will be your voice
I hear
and I won’t be afraid
anymore
