It was so close Undefinable my words As whispers had no shape No subject to proceed Have you ever reached so deep inside You forgot who you are You leech the final recollection That streamed like falling stars The night consumed so many forms The raining in my head That drops like breaking shards of life That can't seem to fit again I hear the ringing, staying sharp It can't release the tightened grip That takes over what I live And pollutes me to be nothing I fell to the underbrush To hold on to what is left To consider the final edge What lies before you, a last resource Yourself being the only one That breaks through everything else The only one reliable For becoming what you are Yourself; a split decision on its own |
