It’s Not a Futile Dream I stepped out beneath the platinum sky and in the distant heavens I heard the wild geese cry though the view, bestowed them not my heart was sent a-flutter they titillated thought the stirrings in my heart effervescent, yet somehow calm they seemed to promise spring and caress me as a balm the earth beheld a dewness refreshing as a mist foretelling of the newness in a season’s gentle kiss inside again, I listen as the singing of the clock brings us ever closer with each and ev’ry tock I settle now, in faith, though war mongers plot and scheme the unfolding of His plan is not a futile dream ©March 8, 2003 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

This is very beautiful ... and His dream is not a futile dream. Spring can enter our hearts and spread out to the world. Margherita |
