sunlight peeking thru ivory lace, windows singing familiar songs, morning comes early today, spring tiptoes by, waiting at the threshold, enterring shortly, to its own rhythm of time, winter starts melting, sparrows splash in rainbow puddles, seasons shaking hands peace and love love and peace [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (03-08-2003 11:36 PM).] |

Isnt spring wonderful. The renewal of life, of winter's hibernation slowly coming to an end. Glad to have read this short but cute poem! |

Michele, I love spring, too. Just wish the fog and rain would go away for awhile here in sunny Florida..... "Love makes the world go around" |

Where I am right now, Northern Virginia, Spring does seem to be taking its time in arriving amidst the six foot snow embankments. I think you captured the very subtle touchs of a seasonal shift nicely. Good job "I should have been a pair of ragged claws/ Scuttling over the floors of silent seas"-T.S. Eliot |
