standing on a shadow's lace

Oceans(part 2)

as a woman
I am drawn
to the tide
by the pull
of the moon
it lets me
ebb and flow
to the cooling
of something
stirring inside me
in it’s waters
there is such
a quenching
of my spirit
in this translucent
sapphire liquid fire
where I can
let go
of my grip
and flow flying
covering my world
outside and in
and nothing else
can hold me
this close
