Give me a tongue to speak with Give me an idea to feel with These distorted dreams they’re keeping me alive And I wake in the night screaming for my lost life We are the loneliest kids Your lost children Flinching and itching And hoping and wishing For a natural sun to burn so bright As we strip ourselves bare in the fading night Around me everywhere I sense the end A tunnel approaching A rock I can’t bare the weight I knew the very moment I glanced your soul in it’s divinity That I would be left with a majority of one That I would sink in your swamp dying at the side I came back I tried to break through you Letting go, letting go I made false accusations Drew pathetic assumptions Running to find a light It’s been done more beautiful, eloquent and clear Than words ever depart this electricity Never lost hope and lost thoughts I dwell in the shade forever Waiting for the beach of ever after Try to stop, I can’t Try to begin, I can’t Thoughts, can’t let them invade my head Bad times and lost forever Heavy motorway Thousands of impatient lights Sperari |
