For you met purely by chance
Love had claimed another victim
At the start of your romance

Two hearts once lost and lonely
Were drawn together on that day
So soon your love had blossomed
Into a most beautiful bouquet

Love flowed throughout your veins
Soon your heart was filled with love
You were captivated by her being
She was your sweet Canadian dove

Time for you had little meaning
As love filled your heart and soul
Just to have her by your side
Was to be your ultimate goal

So you planned a life together
Now it's so very plain to see

I wrote this after reading about
a great love story that brought
two souls together from two
different sides of the world.It
is a true story and I felt inspired
to write this for Peter and Carey-Ann
in celebration of their love for one
another.
