Not apes cavorting in a cage Or gerbils in revolving pens, Or rabbits tumbling in the grass Or troupes of cackling hens Are one-half as amusing As the species I know best. Every day I watch them, and I put this theory to the test. They never disappoint me. They're always good for a guffaw. I always mean them, when I say, "They're the funniest things I ever saw." I watch them from a distance To observe their comic traits, Their strutting, their pomposities, Their silly, juvenile debates, Their infantile compulsions, Their rabid craving for esteem, Their ludicrous hypocrisies, My God, aren't they a scream? Yesterday, I watched a group, While pretending to take tea. I noticed several glancing In my direction, furtively. And then one pointed at me, And others pointed after. And then, would you believe it, They all burst out in laughter! |

LOL at this one. It's been a while since I've seen you post. Welcome home to anotherplace where there exists a group who can tickle your funny bones, hopefully without appearing ludicrous or infantile. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (03-06-2003 12:21 AM).] |

watching the world, and all of the idiots gathered within has long been a favorite activity of mine... Who would have known that you were watching me watch them? Nicely done. |
