Everyone seems to be wanting the same old things nobody Care's what's being held inside When your life begins wandering to nowhere In the house where the self resides Living deep inside yourself, thinking of the past Feeling the world outside is too cold You don't want anyone to see you feel the pain In the places where the self resides Yesterday can bring the tears you're trying to hide Tomorrow can bring the laughter you feel The choice is yours, you only have to decide In the mind where the self resides |

ah, the old familiar comfort zone...I know it well... very wise words...I struggle each day with the same thoughts and feelings. |

sometimes the mind, where self resides, is all that we can trust... |
