Slow Down Hey, Jude, you move too fast, time to make the morning last old worn out suit and shoes you don’t pay no human’s dues you slip around in a fog trip on over the family dog blind sided you’re in a reel no one knows quite how you feel. Spinnin’ ‘round the world you go back on your heels up on your toes pretendin’ you know all is well while you continue down the path to hell. Slow down and look about you’ll surely find there’s a good way out a path with fewer prints laid down a path that’s waiting with a crown. A crown for all eternity fashioned just for you, for me. ©February 16, 2003 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

VAS, I like the concept and you carried it out to perfection. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

I really liked this poem. Thanks for sharing. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |
