I may not be up for the long haul or choose the right road to take I can't see that far ahead outside of my line of vision. But I will meet you halfway some where over the rainbow. I think not, I wouldn't go that far even for you. That's a dangerous thought and we both know it's not safe to assume that we could make it. I don't believe in gold or yellow brick roads to pave my fantasies. I'm used to taking the long way around and I know where to get off it's come up before in my blind spot. Or was it the time I was stuck in overdrive exceeding the limit and almost burned my own bridge. Reminding me that there are rules to follow signs to set the speed before we get caught or cross over the line. But I am going your way paying my tokens for the toll to keep pace and getaway staying close behind you if you should steal a glance in your mirror and lay your eyes upon me. I'll be there to turn the music up and roll the top back putting more miles on the speedometer just to see how far we can go when the road starts to climb and we're the only ones there taking our turn nice and slow. ~*~ |

I love the way you play with words and phrases in this one. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

(smiles) Why bother paying for the toll road even when you can just cruise down the less travelled country roads? (big hugggssssss) This is lovely, sweet friend, this has a big Robert Pirsig feel to this and the Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance inspiration, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

I'm known to get carried away with a metaphor, because sometimes it's all I have to go on. Thank you Nan, it's really nice to see you here. And the Zen of motorcycle maintenance? So funny you are Noah. Ok I'll admit it, I'm alot of work! Thanks a bunch for reading. |

Lori, Grinning here. Love the images and wisdom. Some of us do learn from past excursions down the race track of instant love. If we watch the signs we'll be going slow enough to see the red flags as more than just a blur? Really enjoy your talent. Hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Yeah, but Lori, sometimes we can go too slow because of past hurts and heartaches....(like I seem to be doing after almost a five year engagement). Sometimes I think he would be better off if I just let him go and find someone who hasn't been hurt so bad in the past. I've told him this numerous times, but he won't listen to me. Hugs, Ethel |

As always Lori, so full of life and much to heard and felt in your words...words that I relate to very much. Well done gal! I must have had my momma's will |
