Seldom Now

I wandered in a sweep of dreams.
In my bed asleep it seems.
And there in bright eyed gist assailed
The view beyond a mist of Vail.

It was a patch of garden green.
With daffodils of lively sheen
Whose flower seemed to form a dish?
Where nectar seemed the sweet of wish?

And I imbibed each dish of pour.
And drank until there was no more.
Floating into ecstasy.
Into youthful fantasy

And stayed until the end of rend.
Till all were weighed and seemed an end
And when I woke I was distressed.
And whistled what the dream impressed.

For I was filled with passions glow
Yet at an age they seldom grow.

now I know how you write these wonderful poems... not only do you dream good dreams (and sleep!.. hmph) but you also get a refreshing flavor of nectar while you're in those dreams.
Thanks for the smile, sir Enjoyed much as always.

There are some days,
and then there are Sundays,
where I can read each line
in whole
then in part,
and take them in,
straight to my heart...

hugging you for the lovely slip of poem, Sy...

Sy,

Enjoyed this dream. Daffodils speak of spring, fresh renewed, as sipping their nectar envigorated you. I think if they could speak they'd just laugh out loud...they even look happy....!!
And that is how your poetry effects me.

Enjoyed, Pat

This is such a sweet dream....
wish it didn't have to end.

Aww, but youthful fantasy is short lived is it not?
The good news is we can always dream on.

So nice Sy~

(big hugggssssss) Oh Seymour, it is saddening to wake out of a dream that seems heavenly, I experience this heartache almost every single night! (sad sigh) Know you have many dreams inside you and if you keep true to your heart, they can always come true and it doesn't matter how many years go by, you are forever young! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
