Hey, I'm an HTML virgin who is trying to learn how to make a website. I have encountered a simple problem that doesn't appear in any of the tutorials I've done... I'd really appreciate any help. How do I make it so that a menu is aligned to the left of the main part of the document? I'd like to have menu on the left, and main body in the center. I don't have a clue how to do this... I know html basics but this one is eluding me. It's probably a stupid question, but could anyone lend me a hand? [This message has been edited by Allan Riverwood (03-02-2002 07:29 PM).] |

hey allen - i'm thinking what you're probably needing is to start using tables. Tables are probably the best, current method of laying out a web page. I can't go into them right now, but if someone doesn't get into more detail, and/or you don't find the answer yourself, i'll try to come back to this and see if i can help. Chris |
