I can't believe people these days!! What have we humans become! This happened just this past Saturday, ummm... Feburary, 23/2002. I went swimming with a few friends, and I always hook my locker key to my bathingsuit's left shoulder strap. Well, while I was swimming I checked my shoulder strap for my key, to my realization it was gone!! I immediatly checked the surrounding area for my missing key, unfortunatly it wasn't there. So as fast as I could get out of the pool I ran to my locker, locker 55. To my avail, it was open. I checked it, ALL of my clothing was gone, including my fav EXCO sweater(which I'd gotten for X-mas), my black pants, my 3-4wk old red tank top, my 2 rings, my watch, and mt fav black bra!! (Who the hell would steal my bra!!?!?!) Luckily they never took my friend's sweater jacket, they never took my runners/socks, they may have gone through my backback(they didn't take anything!!), my parka was left untouched(It had my wallet(+$35, all my ID including my SIN card), my house keys were in there) Thankfully they left me my underwear, so I called my parents they came down with some new clothing and then I continued onto Dark Zone for Zombie Night with my buddy. Once I find the person(s) who took my clothing and they're wearing it, if they refuse to accept my ownership of the articles, I will then proceed to take my clothing forcfully, and then I will pursue legal action against them. I'm assuming that a girl took my clothing b/c she would've had to go into the female change rooms to retrieve the clothing. Well thanks for listening to my complain about that night. Though just to let you know, I ended up having a really great night at Dark Zone!! ~*~Serena~*~ "I'm not afraid of anything in this world, |

Well, Serena, I've been thinking about this most of the day. First thing is to contact the pool. I'm not sure if you were at a public, school, or community pool, but there should be an attendant and log sheet. Check the log sheet for people with access to the pool area in that time frame, or those who were there, but left within a reasonable time of you finding your key missing. Report the missing items in detail to the pool management, along with a copy of the logsheet. See if they can help you track down your belongings. Also, place a police report for theft, along with the log sheet and suspected persons. The log sheet is crucial...that's your time stamp and time frame of the incident. Whatever you do, try to refrain from a physical confrontation, as they can just as easily lay assault charges on your doorstep. Just some thoughts, and I do hope you can find your belongings. I hear your complaints! Last night I was at a friends house, there were people there that I didnt know. And guess what someone stole all of my friends money! She had $100 dollars on her. But they left her a dollar. Wasnt that nice of them!! People these days are just inconsiderate. She has a baby and she was supposed to go get her baby diapers and all that today. ~I thought it was only your loss when we broke up, but it turns out it was mine too~ |

See, this is the problem. The pool it is a public complex(with the track, pool, wieghts, and such) and it's what they call Free Swim. Anyone between the ages of 10-18 can go there and swim for free. So they can't keep track of the 150+ kids there every Saturday. If whoever took my clothing tries to run/fight etc. I will do anything within my power to get my clothing back, even if it involved getting into a fight, I'd do it. Anyways, thanx for giving me some pointers, I really hope I catch the person. ~*~Serena~*~ "I'm not afraid of anything in this world, |

You know nothing can be gained from fighting. They took your clothes, nothing more than clothing. It's not worth physical confrontation. Kids have been shot over the theft of a cool jacket or a pair of Nikes. If you can't handle it through the proper channels of police and pool attendents, then I would suggest you let it go. |

Let's get somethign straight. There's nothing the pool attendants can do. As for the police, they all they can do is be co-operative in my requests. If both fail, then I guess I'm just going to have to do something about it. All my life I have tried to depend on teachers, attendants, higher authority figures, whoever and most of them have failed, on the rare occasion they pull through. My parents have been around my whole life, but I can't run to them every time I have a little problem, and they can't fix every problem I encounter. So I've learnt how to cope when theres no one there to help me when I need it. I'm not about to just let it go, those were MY clothing, and some of those articles actually have sentimental value, maybe you don't understand, that's okay, but no. Those articles are rightfully mine, if I can reclaim them, I'm sure as hell going to do it!! ~*~Serena~*~ "I'm not afraid of anything in this world, |

rofl@javi as for your problem serena, it does sound like there is no way to go through official means of finding teh culprit. But im sure somewhere there is. If by any chance you do catch this person and you do beat them up.. whats that going to do but show them that doing things in this manner is appropriate. PLUS they can THEN take charges against you. did you think about that? if you take this into your own hands the whole thing could get turned around on you and then where are you but back in a heap of trouble. so think things through a bit and dont let your emotions guide you with it all. *hugs* good luck. ..tiff.. “A single choice can build destinies,or destroy them.” |
