Copyright Infringement again. Sorry to keep posting here in the Alley on this, but when I see several scooped from the main site, since I don't know people's real names from pen names, I thought I would post it here.  This little lady has grabbed 3 of my poems, and Nan's on her list too.

Ron, how would you like me or others to handle this? I don't want to burden you with the task again, however there are many from the main site and I'd hate to see those remain if I deal with this young lady individually.

Let me know how you'd like me to tackle this particular situation and how you'd like me to handle it if/when I come across it in the future.  The last time, did you quote the poems and each link to the culprit, or just referenced it in general?  Maybe you could advise how best to handle it if anyone comes across mass copyright issues affecting some of our members like this one and the other one.  Would you like me to handle my own, then just e-mail you the other links, or keep notifying through the Alley in case other's need to verify for any of their work.  It takes quite a while to pull these links together like I've done below, LOL, but when I find one of mine, I assume there will be others and that's what happened again below.

Although Sarah does not place an author's name on the poem page, on her primary poem page below, she claims "This is a collection of my poems that I have written over the past few months, most of them are about people that are close to my heart or have influenced me in my life." http://sfedragon.com/my_poems.htm

I can't help but wonder of the mentality of these people.  What do they do, read a poem and say to themselves, "Wow - I wrote that!!!"

Michael if that's all it takes, then consider ALL your poetry as written by me.. Boy I'm good!!! (just kidding!)

LOL ... I think that is all it takes for these odd ones. In the overall scheme of things, it really is such a tiny percentage of people who have done this, and I've had excellent results with those I contacted.

Ali's search engine software suggestion "Copernic 2001" works beautifully to keep track of this type of thing on a regular basis, be it a key phrase from poems posted on the main site or others posted on a personal web page (some issues I encountered had nothing to do with the main site).  Regardless, Copernic 2001 has taken the grump out of this task, and makes it easy to stay on top of it, I'd recommend it to anyone regardless of where their work is published, even hard copy publication.
Thanks again Ali ... I'm not too concerned with this anymore, since this makes it so easy to nip it in the bud. Quick and painless, LOL ...

Uh, any suggestions for pages that are done in a foreign language?
http://www.helmer-digte.subnet.dk/

This particular page is using one of my poems and I haven't a clue how to reach them.  It's kinda hard to figure out if there's an administrator link here...LOL

Michael, this is a Danish page and as far as I can figure it out this page is part of: http://www.subnet.dk/ and at the bottom of the page it has a link: Kontakt. I'd try that if I were you. Good luck. Had the same thing with a Scandinavian site myself, but never received a reply from them.

After talking to Ron, I e-mailed this person to finalize the issue and it has been resolved.
