D'you know, my disillusioned, American friends: You ain't the good guys anymore. Gone are the days of protection; of sincere righteousness; of a cause that was able to lead the world with something to grab a hold of, and be proud of. A dream of something that the French lost. Something I call: 'A Jefferson thing.'  Now, you're kicking the little , ginger kid in the stomach, and laughing at his pain. You are the big boy...get it right.

That being the case, let someone else step up the the plate . . . We have made bad, drastic mistakes during the last eight years, nobody else makes mistakes . . . Right?

That , my friend, is the denial that sinks the ship. All the power, and all the wealth in the world won't save a man with no conscience.

Fifty years on, and a black man still can't feel safe, even when he puts up his arms!

Sure wish I had your superior intelligence. By the way, I am NOT in denial, I voted against everything I could vote for to stop the Obama floodgates from opening and consuming us.

How long has the crass hypocrisy of the USA been responsible for the vomiting of the current human race? What the eff went wrong? Smashed the life out of Indo-China. Stirred a hornet's nest in The Middle East that will sting for along time. Blew the arse out of Libya, and Somalia, and communists were lost on the first roll of the crazy dice. Created more refugees than any wall that Rump can build, that will ever hold out! Financially backed the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' depending on how much the arms manufacturers made! Crazy, and The British were, and are, just sad, little puppets. And the greatest sin of all: failed the young men who gave their lives to save the world from tyranny.

Nothing to get excited about. No one person can change the destiny of Man. Look at it this way fellas, it's just another empire crumbling. Ride it like a wave and tilt when you near the shore.

Many things have changed in the UK as well as the US in the two-years-plus since this rag was ignited.

...and then again, it's really been just more of the same...or so it seems.

Hopefully the US will upgrade their "President Trump" to Ivanka in the not-too-far future.

If all your American friends happen to be politicians or corporate CEOs we could have the makings of a interesting discussion. However, if you're talking about your average American Joe or Josephine then, in my opinion, your statement is so inaccurate that labelling it wrong wouldn't be sufficient.
