What did the old system diagram look like Denise? Was it more complicated, less complicated or roughly similar? I’m guessing it was the latter – complicated systems tend to lead to complicated reflationary diagrams, you should see some business process and software/database diagrams not to mention the electronic schematics of an F16 fighter - they’re really complicated. That doesn’t make the systems they describe necessarily bad though nor does it mean that making those systems any less complicated would make them any better – making an F16 fighter less complicated so that the schematic is easier to read for instance would be a pretty silly idea. . |

The old system didn't involve the government for most of us Grinch. It was us, our doctors and the insurance company. Our employers, who in most cases were providing the insurance, didn't even have the right to our medical records or have any say in any treatment options, for or against. |

Uh.... Denise... Before you take that aspirin, you need to: ~ Allow Homeland Security to check and make sure they did not come from some source outside of the US, and are not going to cause harm and catastrophe to the American People ~ Pass the request through the Eligibility Assessment System ~ Show the IRS your receipt to ensure you paid the taxes in that aspirin ~ If you happen to be involved in the Government Health Care Exchanges, you need to pass it by the Office of Eligibility Determination to ensure you have the right to take the aspirin, just in case it came from a government source. ~ Don't forget to run it past the Data Collection Office to ensure they keep an accurate count of how many aspirins you have taken, where they came from, and how many are being taken nationwide by women of your age group from Philadelphia who have children in pictures on poetry sites ~If the aspirin were given to you, you need to make sure the physician paid the Annual Fee to the Pharmaceutical Companies ~If the money for that aspirin came from your Health Savings Account, you need to ensure that it passes the Misuse of HSA Funds legalese. I actually have a suggestion... take a stinkin' nap... by the time you get through the red tape, your headache will have gone away. Of course, the one question I have: What in the hell does loan forgiveness have to do with health care? *yes, I realize that this is not really going to happen; however, I would like you to take a look at the chart and realize that I took that aspirin from the President all the way through to Denise by using the circles and arrows (and the paragraph on the back)... and nothing I wrote was out of the realm of the charted possibilities. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "WHAT A RIDE |

lol...you gotta laugh or cry, right, Ringo? Believe me, and I'm sure you do, my intake of aspirin has increased immeasurably over the past year. Gotta stock pile them in before you can no longer get them without a prescription, fill out four forms in triplicate, oops, make that five, the IRS will need a copy too, wait 6 months and then pay 20 times what you can get them for now! And goodness knows we'll need aspirin by the buckets-full because we sure won't be able to get in to see a doctor if we get sick! |
