How do you get them
shooting a woman
in the neck and chest
and then blowing yourself up?

Political figure has not gender.
And  you may argue that people do commit suicide for their belief, if you take this as an example. But He murdered so many while he was murdering himself.  And he might be promised to go somewhere higher.  If one believe the wrong thing, he will do wrong thing.
my thought.

Personally I blame religion in general.

One of the stand-up comedians (can't remember which)did a routine on virgins living a clean life of celibacy and religious devotion only to be told upon reaching heaven that their place was to satisfy lustful desires of murderers and criminals who would be arriving after they blew themselves up.. No one thinks of the plight of those poor virgins!!!

Hey Grinchie! Hey TM!

And from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houri

And on one of those innumerable documentaries that I always forget the name of, a guy explained that the number is used generally, like we would say "a thousand"--as in "Dude, there must have been a thousand of 'em!" or something like that.

Personally, I get excited over correspondences so I was wondering over the number m'self, since there are 72 cards in a Tarot Deck. (22 of those are Major Arcana, and that corresponds to both the Hebrew alphabet and the number of chapters in the book of Revelation.) But the virginal aspect would simply attest to the idea that these would be desirable women, or vessels of purity.

And I think that this less of an incentive than the idea that someone would rather die for freedom than live in a hopeless situation (and didn't I get beat up for typing that before?) but yes, that and the idea that the family of the suicide bomber is promised a monetary stipend is also part of the deal. The Martyrdom bit is just icing...

(Please people, I'm tired. I'm not advocating suicide--suicide bombers--or even virginity as a measure of "desirability" for women--or even logically defending the premise of sex without flesh.)

Yet the question remains:
how do we deal with those
who believe and are wiilling
to kill while dying for such things?

You mean religious people?

I think we’re stuck with them for a while, the best we can do is leave them alone in the hope that they’ll come to their senses.

Doing anything else just fuels their enthusiasm.

Dear John,
who is "we"? or "wii"?
Is "We" God?
if not, Who authorizes "we"?
There are many good people there in that area. they will find a way. Of course if they need "we", "we" shall go there.
now shall "we" be more concerned about Obama and Hillary?

Every religion has its fanatics, and none are worse than the others.

Dear FatesWarning,

If my god want me to eat you, will you preheat the oven and prepare seasonings for me?

Dear FatesWarning,

Then you don't know that some of the religions indeed eat human before you say that none is worse than another? But in a sense that you were right because human beings are same no matter in what religion if that can not give us a new spirit.

my thought

Of course I knew about that. However, it doesn't change the fact that all religious fanatics are no worse than the other.

What? I was talking about religious fanatics who murder or condone murdering, not all human beings.

shall I say that religious fanatics are showy flowers of the religions and religions are grown from the seeds of humans desires. So, when you talk about the flowers ,you have to talk about the plants and the seed and may be the dirt and other environment. so who is better?

Often these religious people live by things that are set like laws in a religious book.  What would happen if these people's religion weren't so fastened to frozen sayings of an ancient book?  It would probably evolve and improve its ideals.  It is not the religion that is the problem, but it is the extremity of "freezing" the religion and not allowing it to change and have some flexibility.

Sir Essorant, you were right. religions do in fact evolve but not truth.

The truth doesn't evolve?  What about the truth that you are a baby?  Didn't that evolve and eventually become the truth that you are an adult?

Ah, dear Essorant, my truth of adult does not make the truth of my baby time a false fact. They are all truth.

When they get to such a heaven, I can only hope such a man is faced with having to blow up each and every one of those dolls.

Or, better, blown up by them . . .
Talk about rejection . . .
