Where no tyranny is tolerable

What exactly happens at a die-in?  What do they do?  Is the blood real or is it just chicken juices?  Do the participants actually fall over or what?  Are the caskets real, or paper mock-ups put out by Teddy Kennedy's office?  Does a priest say Mass or what?  what kind of preaching do they have?
And after they have made their point and left town, who has to clean up after them?

From Wikipedia [which apparently I missed in 2003], it states:
quote:
Die-in
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Die-In protest against 2003 invasion of Iraq in Sheffield, United Kingdom. Die-ins are a form of protest where participants simulate being dead (with varying degrees of realism). Possible motivations include:

1. prevention of violent conflict, war;
2. raising awareness of an existing conflict;
3. expressing disapproval of technology which is perceived as deadly.

In the simplest form of a die-in, protesters simply lay down on the ground and pretend being dead, sometimes covering themselves with signs or banners. Much of the effectiveness depends on the posture of the protesters, for when not properly executed, the protest might look more like a "sleep-in". For added realism, simulated wounds are sometimes painted on the bodies, or (usually "bloody") bandages are used.

Die-ins were a popular form of protest around the world against the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Cindy Sheehan was arrested for a die-in in Washington, DC.

Perhaps they should pretend being slaves . . . and see how that feels

I'll go you one better, John.

How if they were to pretend to be POW's, wanting nothing more than to be returned to the States?
