. http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2007Jan08/0,4670,GirlSlain,00.html “Jessica's body was found with her hands tied with wire and her fingers poking through the garbage bags in which she was buried.” It’s my understanding that there’s a chance the thing that did this may get out because the statement he made acknowledging raping and burying a 9 year old child alive was not in the presence of an attorney. The cops say they were hurrying to try and find the child before she died. I don’t know what to say to this. . |

I'm actually rather proud of our community at the moment. It says a lot, I think, that this thread has languished. John, I think you have a morbid bent that others find far less interesting. We have plenty of threads around here about civil rights and why protecting the innocent oft times meaning protecting the guilty as well. Do you really want to discuss those issues? Or do you just want to dwell on the horror? Yea, she was nine years old. Perhaps we could show her a little respect and not treat her like a bad roadside accident we stare at as we drive slowly by. |
