Just a name I had always imagined Hope to be a lifeline A tethered balloon bouncing With a gaseous gift Of going upward, Colored circus red And if Hope could talk It would shimmer with the Sound of childhood… I was full of Hope for a long life With just one man, to create That ever-after phenomenon As I was raised, Taught to cherish, holding Forever dear But that one man found Hope in someone Other than me, your Name being just that four Lettered word, stringing Him along like a tethered Balloon bouncing, Lips colored circus red, While I simmered with The sound of childhood Around me… Hope may have taken Him, but she Left me Anticipation in what I could do On my own. |

Ironically, I was thinking on a childhood, in my youth, over the years kind of poem. This was just great! |

This baloon in short time no doubt deflated it lacked the heat your flame would give it rise. Enjoyed |

(big hugggssssss) Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautifully expressive, sweet friend, this too had me reflecting on my youth and how all I ever wanted was to fly away from all the abuse and depression I was lost in! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

This definately deserves a bump! This is powerful writing with an equally strong message for all to take heed from. You use great imagery and a theme to convey your thoughts well. Maybe this moved me so much because I see a glimmer of myself in your words. Yes, this is a keeper Take care, Melissa~ "Poetry is not an opinion expressed... |
