Dark falls
Here in my head,
In my heart.
Always, it does,
When I must leave.

Words are well heeded,
Coming from others,
Yet again I am stumped
And speechless.

If only I could say...

Yet another search
For words of my own
Comes up empty,

Though in my off
Moments, they are there
In plenty.

And so, having said
Nothing of much consequence
I must bid you good night,
All the while knowing

My straight and unread face
Is a tissue thin veneer
Through which my love glows
Weakly;

And yes, it is hidden beneath
The paper, unable to find
Its confidence,
And so, stuffed down, it

(big hugggsssssss) I think we all have these times and moments where we're at a loss of words, sweet friend, may soon all the love you desire to share be revealed and may he answer back with all the love for you you dream of! Keep your pen and paper beside the bed as I do. Then when you get a thought...jot it down quickly. Helps to keep a flashlight handy so you won't disturb thy spouse.
