every one knows what its like to drift off
into the world between dreams and reality
have you been there lately, cause it's changed

I remember when I used to daydream of you
back before the smiles and the laughs
and yes the tears as well

back when I never knew your face, nor touch
where you weren't quite a dream I had
or even a reality I felt

the only thing that strikes me is this
that despite remembering my daydreams
I can't recall reality before you

since I've met you my world has been flipped
turned inside out by your voice
and dazzled by our stories

it's odd to see the photographs of the past
familiar faces and names in places we knew
yet we can't stand there now

it's as if life has changed acts in this play
while no recollection of act 1 was retained
and it's all improv, live and uncut

so many stories to recall passing away
focus and goals changing with the winds
and peace in a sea of chaos

my how reality gains autotracking
when you find someone who makes the time before
seem slow and hazy

its almost like time was waiting to begin
with the beginning just a place
to draw a picture of who you are

so as we gaze into the future who will know
what kind of daydreams we had
that will one day come true

People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid. --Soren Kierkegaard

Yes, when the daydream turns into reality…that is magical indeed. Lucky for you that you found it.

fairy tales can come true
it can happen to you.....
when you're young at heart

awww hell, you're more than young at heart!! you're frigging YOUNG!!!!!! and they happened and so the deal is this.....

this is a really fine piece of writing, james...... full of the life energy of important images and realizations and hell, if you could play scrabble HALF as good as you write poetry, i'd ask you to be my partner!!

hehe *wink

(smiles) Oh James, I know these feelings ever so much myself, every night before I fall asleep I always stare at the girl of my dreams pictures taped up to my bookshelf and I always wish I could be here with her, though this summer we may be able to make that dream come true! (big hugggssssss) I wish for all these wonderful dreams to come true for you, sweet friend, you deserve the greatest happiness of all! We all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
