there are memories I just replay in my mind a thousand times savoring them with each sense wearing them as new rediscovering forgotten like old brown sack flavors with stains in the bottom from delicious burgers with too much grease and fries that had special seasoning a fresh air dry shirt off the line in the summer pressed with mom touch her perfume on the buttons and extra thread just in case a puppy wearing big dog feet on fresh mopped tile in the kitchen with a door accidently open and a unaware lap waiting in the recliner the heart beat vibration against my ear of a lover as I might rest for a moment with her words muffled by her flesh about secrets she never told before but is so glad I listen and want to know everything she ever wanted to say ©Dark [This message has been edited by Dark Stranger (02-15-2002 12:35 PM).] |
