This is my venting poem about an ex friend of mine that is as thickheaded as they come! Our differences have led to the end of our friendship and I am so relieved! I know you all are used to seeing my sweet lovey dovey poetry..now you get to see a taste of my anger  Friendship Over by RosePetal You disgust me whenever you're in my sight I can't stand the way you always think you're right Never do we agree or see eye to eye Your mind is set so my opinions pass you by A user like you should rot downstairs eternally You're part devil you should fit in perfectly You're head must be made of cement No getting through so here I vent I guess it's true, small minds have big mouths You always want something free with your hand out Frankly, I'm tired of being your door mat For you to step on like a sidewalk's crack You say a lot but never to my face I won't use my breath only paper to waste You are not worth my lungs' air Get offended girl, I really don't care I know two wrongs don't make a right I'm tired, this is our last fight Two lefts though, make a u-turn This friendship's over as far as I'm concerned [This message has been edited by RosePetal (02-25-2002 05:18 PM).] |

Hello Joanna So very powerful were your words in expressing the way you feel. Unfortunately there are too many people who feel they always know best and aren't willing to listen to anyone else. These people are normally very selfish too.....I know some people like that and I have no time for them. I am sure you have many other friends who respect your opinion and are willing to listen to you. I'm sure you have made many friends here at PIP as I have. I wish you well.  (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Joanna, shame on your friend for treating you this way, I can understand that everyone is different in some way, but when one has too many differences, it is right to lose touch from a friend! (BIG HUGGGSSSSSSS) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, know that your friend does not deserve your friendship and you are surrounded by many friends like me who love you so much! Joanna darling girl this is an absolutely fabulous poem. It may be a vent of anger but you’ve managed to do it in style with a wonderfully flowing poem that says just exactly how you feel As always the flow is divine and the structure is flawless, I doubt if you could write a bad poem if you tried. Fabulous darling girl utterly utterly fabulous. I see my abominable daughter got here before me, I’ll forgive her, but only because I know I’ll win in this battle to secure the best poets first.
