"Castles in the air - they're so easy to take refuge in. So easy to build, too." -Henrik Ibsen-1892 An urge, like gravity, compells I wend in solitude traverse a scenic route and so elude this curse'd life without, thus scourged, this mateless spell of time I spend and purge such hell in peace found at land's end, where rectitude and lucid verse will out, blue mood disperse along with clouds of doubt, near surging swells whose ceaseless soothe's a friend, on sands who soften weary world's footfall, the steady zepher's fingers through my hair, on strands where oft' is heard the swirling gull, where treads the swifter sandpiper aware serenity is sandwiched in the lull 'twixt tides of squalls, kind ebbs in climes quite fair. "Happy people have no history" - French Proverb |

Ah... a relaxing day at the beach.... and the weather here in windsor was quite fair today.... but we are expecting 5-8 inches over night... and so I must read your poem a few more times... just for the flavour!!!! Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. |

This is quite nice, well written, and I can relate. The pathos is very touching. Midnight Writer . |
